Not sure what happened but we had double the FB RSVP turn out. Was it the shout out celebrating 1000 members in the group or the call for solidarity for some special ladies on the other side of the world who are fighting to just be allowed in public on a bike #iranianwomenlovecycling, everyone has their challenges, some bigger than others.
Shout out to everyone who's joined SNR. We're 1000 people in the group so plenty of new faces. Come out and say hi.
Also a shout out to some special ladies on the other side of the world who are fighting to just be allowed in public on a bike #iranianwomenlovecycling, everyone has their challenges, some bigger than others.
We're heading to Ballast point to see some pretty lights.

Big thanks to Rob Berry, from BikeWise Sydney, for letting us chase him down through to Balmain.
He added his own flavour to the ride by squeezing in a pre ride drink, not sure if this will be a once off or a tradition... will have to wait and see on the next ride.
Distance: 22 kms
Hills: A few in Balmain
Post Ride Beers @ The Old Clare
Post Ride Ice cream @ Anita-Gelato
I think the chilly winter nights are behind us and Sydney is heading back into the nice Spring nights. So see y'all tomorrow night.
Ride around Balmain Ballast point for some city views, there might be a "fun" section under the ANZAC bridge for those with some energy. Get your strava on.
View: Ballast Point Park, view of the Harbour bridge
Final destination: Ice cream or pub - we'll see where the wind blows
